I remember when Gorsuch rd use to be a gravel road that the county road crew would spray with some kind of black sticky asphalt. My dad and some neighbors gripe about how it caked the fenders up and was hard to remove. [The man] who lived in the white house next to the cemetery would tell me stories about the area. He said he remembered the days when the road was a single foot path for people and horses. Soon turned into a buggy trail then gravel and now the paved road it is now.
